Longevity’s Legal department is hiring!  Are you interested in joining a collaborative and supportive team?  While working on our small legal team, you’ll gain experience in many areas of the law and work with various business unit leaders.  We are seeking a talented attorney for the following hybrid position… 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

General 

  • Perform routine legal work
  • Effectively partners with more experienced attorneys on complex/significant matters 
  • Interest and ability to learn business issues 
  • Provide support to the businesses 
  • Assist with corporate governance and formalities
  • Manage corporate licenses

  

Contract Drafting and Negotiation 

  • Draft and review agreements
  • Legal and business issue spotting 
  • Support more experienced attorneys with contract negotiations 

  

Other 

  • Legal research and presentation on regulatory, compliance, privacy, litigation, or other legal matters 
  • Assist with litigation and subpoenas
  • Support diligence or integration in M&A 

  

Required Skills: 

  • U.S. law degree 
  • 1 year legal experience 
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills 
  • Demonstrates strong performance in legal writing 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines 
  • Proficient at legal research 
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
