Job Title: Corporate Counsel

Job Summary：

1. Provide legal advice to leadership, functional departments to ensure compliance and minimize risk

2. Negotiate commercial contracts

3. Manage litigation

Job Functions:

  • Prepare and review contracts. Work with functional departments to understand background and critical issues
  • Prepare and review contracts such as NDAs, joint development agreements and purchase and sales agreements with 3rd parties
  • Provide legal advice. Conduct legal research per the request of functional departments and senior management. Identify high risk areas, conduct general
     legal research and provide legal advice to management to minimize risk  
  • Manage Litigation. Manage company's involvements in all litigation 
  • Outside Counsel Management. Engage and manage outside counsels when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Job RequirementsLanguageStrong oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
ExperienceMust be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state. If there is no Ohio license, approval for an in-house counsel license in Ohio is required.
EducationJD and LLM from an ABA accredited law school
Physical ConditionThe employee is regularly required to be sitting for long periods.                                                                                                                                                         
 Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots on the production floor. 
Other RequirementsPreferred qualifications include bilingual proficiency (English-Chinese) and experience working in a diverse environment.

Training RequiredCLE required by applicable bar

Must be 18 years of age or older.
